Old English Series Libraries The Old English Series will be based on a number of instruments containing stops of a mellow disposition. The goal of this series is to reproduce the sort of warm, unforced sound typical of Victorian instruments prior to the development of the more powerful instruments introduced by Willis, Hill and others in the latter part of the 19th Century. Early instruments by John Nicholson, Bishop, Gray and Davison and others will form the basis of the series. |
